Ce film suit un principe : A me présente B qui présente C puis D…et ainsi de suite.
Pendant les 15 jours qui précédaient l'exposition, j'ai rencontré 12 personnes. Je leur demande à chacun se présenter puis de décrire la personne qu’ils ont choisie, comment il se sont rencontrés et quel rapport les lie. Le film commence à Strasbourg et je termine ma quête dans une boulangerie alsacienne en plein cœur de la vieille ville. Au fil de ces interviews d'inconnus un portrait de la ville de Gand se dessine par bribes.

Avant de partir, je m'entraîne dans ma ville. Lieu connu que je ne filme pas. Portraits de voisins qui de leurs fenêtres tentent de se décrire avec précision. La bande-son dirige le montage.

Second film of a triptych. 1. Strasbourg 2. Gand 3. Europe
This film fallows a rule: A introduces me to B who introduces C then D... and so on.
During the fifteen days before the exhibition, I met twelve persons. I asked each one to introduce themselves then describe the person they have chosen, how they met and what links them together. The film starts in Strasbourg and I finish my quest in an alsatian baker's shop in the heart of the old town. Through these interviews of unknown people, a portrait of the city of Gand appears bits by bits.
